Why use this term?<\/h2>\n

Once you have this number, it is possible to calculate the necessary materials to order (in square foot terms).<\/p>\n

Different examples<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s also important to keep in mind that a single roofing square can be the same for homes with widely varying roof dimensions.<\/p>\n

For example, consider a roof that is 10\u2019 by 10\u2019. The total area is 100 square feet. This is the same area as a roof that is 4\u2019 x 25\u2019 or a roof that is 5\u2019 x 20\u2019. In each case, the size is the same.<\/p>\n
